I've wanted to start a blog forever it seems like, but just never got around to it. So, here it is! I haven't had much thought as to what exactly I want to blog about but I'm hoping it'll just come naturally. I do however anticipate it reflecting much of my interests and daily thoughts in the realms of fashion, event planning, entertainment, public relations and then just day-to-day life for me as a 21-year-old college student in Boston, originally from New York. I am often a very blunt and in your face person and I think this blog will certainly showcase that, as well as yet ANOTHER way for me to express my thoughts - aside from Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The title of my blog came naturally - Suzy & The City. Growing up in New York City and now living practically in it's backyard (Rockland County), I have been consumed with all things NYC since a very young age. To me, there is no other place in the entire world that compares to the bright lights and fast-paced lifestyle of New York. But since 2006, I have been a full-time student at Northeastern University in the "city" of Boston, where I now reside most of the year. Most of my friends from home consider this enemy territory and at first, I hated it with a passion. But it has definitely grown on me and I know that when time comes to say goodbye, it will have been where I spent the best five years of my life.
Well, that's all for now. Oh and excuse my appearance, I'm working on designing a template for my blog from scratch so stay tuned for that ;)
